Hello there! I would like to see places for items to be displayed in Starbound. So as an example, if there are books/scrolls (find in dungeons or elsewhere), you can craft a book case, and fill it with books to read or that do special things! Also, a display case to display treasures or rare items. It would be nice to note that you should be able to place whatever you want to display in them! That would be amazing. It could really open the game up to far greater customization. Also, being able to put items on shelves and on tables and what not would be fun. I also think it would be cool, and if the engine allows, to have a picture making mini-game where you can make your own art or a computer forum to upload your pixel pictures into the game and post them in the walls of your base/station. Interact with the world you create. *-*-*-*-* On a totally separate yet somewhat related note, the Starbound members should have mapping! Being able to record parts of the terrain/planet onto a map to refer to later on! There is soo much that could be done with just that alone. Or Treasure maps on side-missions. The possibilities are endless. You could also put maps on tables or walls as furnature. You know, be able to take a little bit of the planet home with you I think that would be a great idea and I really hope that if you haven't already, should implement this into the game. i think you could do allot with picture frames o.o...like take a snapshot of something you did in game and when you put up a painting for example it asks if you want to use a random image or an image from your screenshot database
I've always thought that this would be a good idea. I would also like to display some previous cool looking (but now under powered) weapons.
I know they have weapon racks, though I don't know the details of how they will work... OT: I would be really surprised if they didn't have at least a little of this already, but I'm upvoting anyway because it would be awesome.
