See the blue word "this", with the underline? SHOULD be a link, if it works correctly (and it does. I'm just playin' with you, there). I'm suggesting DiscWorld. As a planet. Y'know, since it's a sub-forum for suggesting stuff about environments... and planets... Can you imagine that!? A giant turtle carryin' four elephants around carryin' a flat world! Ain't that just somethin'!?
Yes, I see the "this" and im aware what a great world the Discworld is Had a great time reading the books. But how are you going to create the sludge-like water that fills the river of Ankh-Morpork? People that try to drown themselves end up breaking their bones on impact and suffocate. Also, the elephants may be somewhat upset, when you dig a hole though the disc, while exploring for materials.
Bah, at this point, turtles are... irrelephant. But yeah, the only problem I can see with this is, well... It says that he created his own system of physics? How does that work with a bunch of normally physical planets?
as awesome as the discworld novels are, I boubt this will be in the game lol I mean, from my understanding, all the planets are gonne be round
The Discworld is round too! And flat at the same time, explain that! You cant! no no, its not possible! Unless of course it would be disc-shaped... naah.
Simple concept for this to exist- trans-dimensional drives. And I love this series as well... Though even with drives, I don't see how this could be implemented in-game.
