question is the item named fence that crafts into it?

cuzz i did a little snupping into the recipe file and it said the output is a fence.

does this mod have any compatibly issues with other mods?

Or am i suppose to start a new character?

You have the OLDEST VERSION OF THIS MOD EVERRRRR...
The oldest version had the recipe result in a fence.
Try redownloading.

Thanks for the requests! I was thinking about Ebony and Ivory too, then I noticed I wanted to get the ore tiers done first.
Not sure if I will do more cave story weapons, but I love cave story so I might make a "DLC" with cave story or something

EDIT : You can Dual Weld the guns (something I never mentioned for a long time), so Ebony and Ivory, along with the 2 Onyx Roses, would be 2 separated guns.

might wanna add a modinfo file while your at it to for simplicitys sake

 

guns are too weak on lvl 10 monsters

 

What gun are you using? Wood? Cobble? Steel or Silver should kill them in around 2-4 hits.
And if you mean lvl 10 monster by the Penguin UFO boss, it is suppost to be extremely hard to kill.
I could make a gold gun before even fighting the penguin UFO.
