    Haha, I was thinking the same thing. That would explain why there were so few new things in the "nightlies" :D

    Some feedback for your feedback:

    (I know you likely meant two-handed swords and mace's. Take it as a joke.)

    You barely have a need for pixels anymore. They could remove canisters completely and you would still have a surplus of pixels (thats without building the refinery).

    Taking feedback, yes. Doing everything said feedback suggests, not necessarily.

    Anyway, im rather sure keybinding and such is a planned feature (you can allredy do it using the config files, its not complicated or hard to do. All thats lacking for the ones that dosent want to use config files is a ui for it), but creating a ui for keybindings is hardly a priority while the game is still in development, its more like polish (important polish, but still polish).

    I think I'm missing out on something. There is no update for Starbound in Steam for me.

    Or do I have to install the same way Nightlies are installed?

    you need to select the unstable Branch in the beta section when going into properties from Steam

    Known Issues:
    • Combat balance is still WIP
    Just one of them, but it explains why you haven't noticed any changes.

    (Even if the balance isent done yet its still kinda bull to say that combat is the same, they reworked the whole combat system with aimable weapons, a new guard system, new energy regen system, new monster ai, etc. If he dosent notice a difference he didnt realy try combat out before).

    In regards to combat, since Furious Koala we've had
    • All weapons now attack much faster, you have to time your strikes more precisely. (Enraged koala)
    • Many melee weapons are now aimed weapons (Enraged Koala)
    • Shields have a finite integrity that regenerates over time. (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Shields do not lose integrity if you make a timed block (within ~half a second of the attack) (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Some two handed weapons can now parry (ie. can make timed blocks but cannot be held in a guarded positon like a shield) (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Monsters are no longer harmful on contact unless they have very specific body properties. (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Monsters have proper telegraphs and more complex combat behaviour, especially on higher risk worlds. (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Energy regeneration mechanics greatly overhauled, energy regen pauses for a time after using it, depleting energy locks the bar til it recharges again. (Upbeat Giraffe)
    • Backpeddling reduces movement speed, reducing viability of shooting + running as a strategy (Upbeat Giraffe)
