Dirt converter

This is a really simple idea, could we have a crafting table that converts dirt from one color to another? There is so much variety of dirt blocks in this game I have often found myself with *almost* the right color of dirt often, but never *the* color. Maybe it would have a 50% loss rate or something to compensate.

 

Well, the dirt is always the same brown color when dug from underground.

 

Yeah, but what if somebody wanted pinkish dirt? Or greenish dirt?

 

Well, then you have to do what in real life you have to do: Take dirt from another location and move it to the desired location.

Well, unless dirt converter is added into the game at some point.

 

Yeah, that works. I wish we could just paint dirt with the paint tool, like other blocks.

 

would anyone be interseted in me adding a range of dirt colours to my 'Blocktableplus mod'. it would just be a select range of colours currently found in game (and other specifics if you want) they would all be unlocked by defult in this case.

I would love to add the ability to choose any colour but this is a bit out of my scope at this point. (in terms of lua (ui) implementation).

 

Good idea and this dirt we can use for our crops as fertilizer

 

you do not seem to understand, this idea is purely cosmetic.
