Directed meteor attack? WTF? haha

So i made this nice plot of 15 corn , a little house just to the left of it... was down digging under the house when suddenly... 10 meteors or something was comming straight down towards the corn field... only one plant left and a big hole... house wasnt even touched... but loads of meteor rock, that i sadly cant use for anything... this is a true story..

 

yeah theres a meteor apocalypse going on for a lot of people right now. hope they fix it soon.

 

Apparently everyone's suffering from these "Meteors" and I haven't seen a single one. All the Meteor Rock i've seen were from Asteroid Fields.

 

Same here. I'm in delta and haven't gotten hit by a meteor ONCE

 

it was so exact on the corn field almost like someon just targetted the field and nothing else.. so im thinking, ill try using the metor rocks as meteor shield

 

force fields would be awesome

Just started the game, literally 1-2mins later, meteor rain and only thing to do is beam to ship unless you want the whole base destroyed.
But seriously, the meteorite rains occur aproximatly every 10-15min, it's just to much. Right now I got this massive dirt roof to protect my base, but it doesn't look very nice....

I wouldn't be surprised if orbital bombardment is an option shortly after space combat is introduced.

As for people having trouble with meteors, apparently every planet only has one form of weather. If it's acid rain, it's only acid rain. If it's meteors, it's only meteors.

You're best off trying to find a world where the only things coming out of the sky are ordinary rain, glowing rain, or snow (which doesn't necessarily mean snow biomes). There is no real, permanent defense against meteors, and they'll just keep coming as long as you stay there.

 

I take that back, like every 5mins...

Damn meteorites. They killed me instantly while I was in the middle of crafting something. I swear they need to either nerf the meteorites, or get rid of them completely. They are just demoralizing me from building a house in fear that it will just get destroyed by these showers of meteors.

Fuck it, I'm making a mod for this. Someone teach me. Surely it should be as easy as a sprite swap, right?

 

This is why I wait to see what the weather is like on the planet, before I start building there/make it my home. If it is meteors/meteorites I won't build on it.

 

What on earth some how i've yet to see a meteor but every time I start a new character they're killed a few seconds in by acid rain. I really want to see these darn meteors.
