Direct X users?

    so it's been years that Starbound has been out right? but ive noticed something...a lot and i mean A LOT of players use direct X and in my case and many others we don't have OpenGL. Because of this we are ALL wondering...will there be an update to support direct X users again? if not then it seems unfair for space spelunkers like me :( please get to me on this or consider it.

    P.S we direct X users might not wanna buy/get a new PC as we might not be able to afford one :(

    OpenGL is present on every system (windows, linux etc). Every graphic card or onboard video card supports a certain version number of OpenGL and starbound itself requires only 2.1. Normally most graphic cards and onboard graphics support 4.5 these days. So basically there is no need for an extra directX version because the OpenGL requirement is met by nearly all systems today.
