"Dire Stone"?

I was scanning a planet's surface for coal and I got some in what looked like cobblestone. It turned out to be called Dire Stone, which seemed weird to me. It's a common material that apparently is completely useless, but my question is, does this have any correlation with Dota 2? Also, there is a pulse jump on the planet in a green high-tech chest pretty far east, on the planet Beta Alpha Mon Majoris VIII at -91003321 91717192 (in case anybody actually wants that).

P.S. Is there Radiant Ore too?

It's stone that has worms in it. Gross.

Not sure what the significance is but there is Dire Stone on the arid planet in my starting system on my server. I can't check the name / coords atm but will get back to you if you're interested. Oddly, "Alpha Mon Majoris" sounds familiar but what are the odds?

The solar system name actually has both Beta and Alpha in it. It's in the Beta sector though.

Dire stone is usually part of the corrupted biome. Which is extremely frequent on tentacle planets, so the little worms might be tentacle-ings, who knows.
I think it's purely aesthetic as a material, though.

Not a reference to Dota 2 at all. Dire was a word before Dota 2, believe it or not.
