I'll be keeping an eye on this. The sprites could use some work, but I like the idea and you've made something quite unique.

 

work in what way?

 

I just feel the back tentacles look a bit artificial.

 

Artificial? how so? like, the saturation? no matter what the limbs on the back will be black.

 

can yo fix this ?

 

what does your log file say? without that I can't fix anything since the mod is working fine for me. you can find it in your base starbound folder if you need help finding it.

 

If the server doesn't have the mod installed it has no idea what to do when you log in as that race.

 

I know of four different reasons to get that error and all four require the log.

 

it didnt give me one thats all it said when playing single player

there is no crash

there's always a log file even without a crash, it is a log of the program while it's running. should be under "steam/steamapps/common/starbound" and called Starbound.log

For me at least, the image isn't helpful, it doesn't tell me what the issue was, or where in the code the error came from if it is from the code.

The log file won't have the info for the error either if you've started the game up since you got the client-server error, unless you get the error again in that time booting it up.

I will try to fix the download file when I get home later tonight so it reflects the current version of the mod. Until then just use the alternate download link.

Hey, i made this mockup of changing the heads around so the face crests dont weirdly poke out the sides of helmets. Switch these out with your heads and hairs and add

to you species file.
Also your blue maleicon is off center
