Hi fellow farmers, I ordered the Official Guide today and I thought it would be great to have a digital version, kind of like eBooks. I would definitely enjoy a copy of the guide on my iPad! What do you folks think?
I think that the will to have a physical copy in ones hand will neutralize the piracy concerns. And I am pretty sure that some kind of scanned pdf version already exists in the net, so the only chance to avoid the piracy concerns is to not release nor physical, nor digital versions of a product, but that is too extreme solution, isn't it? I do believe that focus should be on users who are willing to buy a product, because the ones who pirate probably wouldn't buy anything anyway and all that "lost profits" are too imaginary to consider any actions against em.
