Digging Tools Suggestion

I have a few suggestions regarding the digging tools in Starbound, as you may have guessed from the thread title.

Firstly, let me introduce the Chisel: a 1x1 block digging tool. An example where this would be useful would be when you are trying to create a precise pattern or design in your background blocks. Using a 3 by 3 pickaxe or drill can get destructive and you will have to dig out some blocks and put some back in to keep things precise. I'm sure you can see that it is inefficient and annoying. With the chisel, this will not be a problem and will be a godsend for any block artists out there in the community.

Now lets take a look at the already existing Pickaxe. I have been puzzled by why the pickaxe digs out 3 by 3 blocks rather than 2x2, since that is how many blocks you can place when building stuff. So why not make the pickaxe a 2x2 blocks digging tool? I will give more reasoning for this in the following section.

Lastly, the Drill. Right now, it digs out 3 by 3 blocks, just like a pickaxe. Considering that the drill is a more high-tech and mechanical version of a pickaxe, it seems strange that it has almost the same amount of digging power. My suggestion is to make the drill dig 4x4 blocks, while making the pickaxe a 2x2 digging tool. This will make the drill appropriately stronger, while keeping your diamond pickaxe a still useful tool for slightly more delicate and artistic digging once you get your drill.

This will also establish some digging tool roles by making them dig a different number of blocks simultaneously. The drill will be your heavy hitter for mass resource gathering operations. The pickaxe won't become completely obsolete after you unlock the drill as it will perform a different role now due to the difference of the blocks dug. The chisel will be your precision tool for more delicate digging.

I also heard that drills and pickaxes have different durability stats. I am assuming that this is meant to give the pickaxe a small durability edge over the drill for balancing purposes. I personally do not find this a successful balancing option as I haven't used my pickaxe over my drill ever. If my suggestions are implemented, the digging tool roles will be more established and therefore the durability can be the same for all 3 tools.

Thank you for reading. Comments and more on-topic suggestions are appreciated.
