But losing is "fun" ;) .Plus you learn from previous mistakes.

Hopefully I can find a planet big enough to build a giant underground complex like in Super Metroid.

It has been mentioned that planets that you are on you can walk from your base, and then walk around the planet and come back to the same place you were before. How would digging a tunnel to the other side be implemented or be done? Would you be upside down?

There will be a core type biome, some area that stops you from going deeper. Think hell in terraria.

I thought this was a Vsauce video because of the font in the thumbnail.

The center of every planet/moon has a special biome exclusive to that planet alone. Since you can run all the way around a planet and end up at the starting point, it makes me think that you can dig straight down until you reach the opposite end of the planet.

Actually every planet has exclusive terrain. Also there are "biome" planets. Like lava planets (we had seen some screenshoots with lava pools in the background)

I love to dig till u cant go down anymore

It would be cool in our digging adventures to dig far enough in the planets crust to find subterrean peoples or 'molemen' type creatures!

If we stop almost at lava or the unbreakable rock the length of the map would it be smaller like 1 pace at the bottom be like 10-50(based on planet size) on the surface in order to simulate a round planet? :D A form of fast travel on large maps , 4 tunnels on the center with kinda 30%(just throwing numbers) time efficiency on travel :D it would be very nice.

When you hit the bottom of the planet, you will remain in free fall and thus unable to move.

    Question answered :)

Realistically speaking momentum should be able to propel us through the 'spread-out gravity' but then again there's no momentum in starbound. Any ideas on passing that place?

Guys it will be basically beadrock at the bottom although I don't know why you would want to go that low

I wish there were some random events digging down aside monsters and lava
