What is going to happen when you dig to the center of a planet? Will there be some sort on invisible barrier stopping you from going further like in Terraria? Is there going to be lava? Or are you just going to dig to the other end of the planet? (I'm just curious to know, that question's been stuck in my head.)

You'll probably just hit the core and buuuuurn

Was also thinking this, if you no life it, destroy all land and take the world's water to all of the world's magma enough to cool it (and bring some water from another planet if needed) will the water sit in the middle and you drown in the direct center, or will you float away since the gravity is gone?

You'll eventually get crushed by the pressure, then when you are a tiny little pellet of compacted human flesh and bone you will be incinerated in the core*.
*only for rocky planets with molten cores, other planet types are not covered in the above statement.

Ah... true, unless you go slowly taking off layer by layer, but still odds are you will either burn up as you approach center or freeze as the smaller planet will have less pressure to force the core into liquid and space then cools the planet to (insert space temperature here) within a matter of time. Either way I'm doomed but still I'm gonna try. If the above isn't evidence, I have no idea how planetary systems work but assume if you could really store the planet's materials on another planet using your ship for a friend/npc to store it there. But as is I will specify it as a "stable planet with a earth-like gravity and atmosphere" just so we can get specific and not worry bout gas giants and certain planets made of mystery materials with strange properties.

Hard to say, since there can be no real "core", because the worlds aren't actually round. Even if you reach your starting point when you walk in one direction the surface still proceeds in a linear way. To have a core would mean the planet assembles around it as a sphere, which isn't the case...I guess you will just hit bedrock.

I'm kinda hoping you can pull the 'dig to china' thing. Maybe be upside down after the middle?

Dig to the centre of a planet and you will find a big red button that says "DO NOT PUSH" alas apon pushing said button you will activate the planetary self destruct system :p.

You could press the button, or you could choose the mystery box.
Who knows what's in it!? It could even be a button!
yes I know the quote is from family guy, shoosh

Reaching the core would be the riskiest move of all since it will unleash upon the planet DISCO NINJA FROGS!!!!

If you would somehow dig a tunnel from one side of the world to another, the speed build up might be big enough to fling into the sun or something.

law of real natural forces- never go quite as far on the rebound. you would have to somehow increace velocity on way down such as intentionally aiming a jetpack down, and even then be several thousand feet up. (Do NOT miss the hole if this is the plan.)

I like the Dig to china idea. You could make your own shortcut tunnels and stuff~
