Different Races Speculation Thread

That's their catch phrase.
I think playing a cyborg would be cool, even if its just an Item you wear.

 

I want lizards so i can have a running animation where i get on all fours like Charr

 

Cat and canine races, giant ants and bees, sharks etc all welcomed

 

A race where we are made out of energy, so an energy being race. I just want to have laser blasting hands. Also we might need containment suits to keep our energy from dispersing and destroying everything...

but mostly laser blast hands.

Oh, I wanna be a BEE, that would be so cool.

 

For their own good i hope that they took the choice of 'races' being randomized aswell, since everything is made out of different 'parts', why shouldnt races also share this nice feature? it would allow alot of creativity and fun.

 

When creating your character, how would that work?

 

Choosing different parts with arrows or an pop up menu and sliders for colors, if they ever need i think i can make some kind of showcase of my idea.

 

OOOOH, I get it now, yeah that would be cool.

 

Definitely need this in the game!

I would like some semi human-demon race that shoots some sort of black goo of evilinesssssss, kinda like prototype, except the universe!

 

I think someone did ask Tiy if there was going to be a height slider in live chat, he said it would be difficult and not very likely. Pity, I suppose that means a weight slider is also out... no race of polar bear people then.

I actually don't think races fit in this game, unless they are gonna add factions as well, like randomly generated settlers on a few planets, buy and trade a few things, or if its a race that is your enemy, you kill them, which would be really fun for me.
