In all the pictures I see so far, Planets are classified by dirt color and background. I think it would be awesome to change the ground a bit. By this i mean, you would primarily walk around on dirt, right? Now what if, to explore Forest Planets, you would need to hop around on tree-tops and leaves, and falling would result in death! This would add the need for building/finding equipment, such as stronger boots, to make exploring the underground of Forest Planets possible. Or maybe water planets, were you need to swim everywhere and islands are scarce. I hope this is added to the game!
Or a forest planet where you stick to the trees to stay above the ocean of fallen leaves left over the ages.
Sounds like a very cool aspect if it was added to the game. I mean, what if most of the planet was lava? You couldn't possibly just walk your way on through that without some extreme heat resistant stuff.
I'm not too sure about the whole jumping around on top of trees. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to me, because it doesn't seem to fit with the tone of the game. I wish that made more sense.
Mmm.. It probably is a given, but we can never be sure, a nudge into the right position may get this to be implemented if it isn't.
What about a planet whose surface is covered in a unidentifyable living mass of tissue... Creepy. Like a whole planet made out of squishy, several-feet-thick moss.
