hello, I have a bunch of mods installed and I'm not even sure where to start looking to try and fix this. I get similar text (strings\locations:...) in other places, such as the shrouded figure at the night market, some of the monster names in the adventurer's guild, and during Caroline's tea cutscene. I tried taking out dialogue and map editing mods (except PyTK) to see if it would fix it but nope. ok, I took the time to go through my mods one by one (oof) and it's the "mermaid replaces mariner" mod that was causing the issue. my game is fixed!
