Do you think it'd still be enjoyable? Don't know how big the map is but it's limited for sure. Hopefully it has multiple plots of land throughout map or it'll kill me. ._.
Okay, this time it sounds like he might almost be ready. I think my current August prediction might be accurate.
Possibly, hes looking into a summer release. June, July maybe. The most logical dates to be honest. We have been waitng for like two months for an update, so he is most likely almost done.
CA's own words, as I have every time I've made an estimate. He's proven me wrong before, but I don't blindly speculate. I try to discern where he thinks he is and work off of that. Previously, he said he had everything 90% done, then he went and redid an entire section of the game. Now, he's saying he's almost done again. Barring another perfectionist fit, we might actually be on the home stretch. Finally.
wrong as I pointed out before, what he actually said was that PARTS of the game are 90-95% done: parts =/= everything. at the risk of splitting hairs over language... a fraction is not a whole. in the update after that (April) he estimated there are still months of work left to be done: So, when you say you're basing it off CA's own words.................................................? I mean, august is technically possible sure. August would be great. June/July would be FANTASTIC. But there's nothing present that's indicative of a summer release. And please understand I'm only being critical of this because it happened a few months ago where we all worked ourselves into a frenzy and ended up creating a lot of baseless disappointment (I was guilty of it as well). So it's better we all tread carefully, that's all.
Yeah, polishing is where perfectionism can REALLY bite an indie dev hard. Hopefully CA doesn't obsess over anything and just finishes up. Ideally we could see the game in August, but after the previous letdowns, I'm not going to expect much.
