Ron stops and looks to the other creature and then to the harpoon, raising his eyebrows. He scoots back, away from it, and tries to see how deep it's embedded without approaching the tip.

She stares on, panicked, the panic slowly turning into confusion. "Wha- Uuh... Y-Yes? I know t-the basics." She blinks hard and lightly shakes her head, trying to clear it. "W-Why?"

 

With little skill in tracking, Richard continues following Sasha and Simon, "You guys think we'll get to her in time?"

 

Considering you're very far away from where they'd be, you'll likely find no tracks...
gunshots again...

It's about three fingers deep embedded. A strong tug on the harpoon and it's back in its hands.

Sklod can be heard bellowing nearby. Sounds like conflict.

 

Bryon walks a little faster, a film of sharp ice starting to coat his left arm. He shivers. Not because he's afraid, but of what's in the waste, this infinite hell of freezing brimstone and gloriously and damnably low temperatures. He shivers again, ice coating his left arm more. To hell with this frozen wasteland. He continues on, resolute,

 

Hercules (I assume) gets his gun ready and scans for whatever is shooting or being shot at.
"What?! What happened?"

 

((While Simo is a Finnish version of Simon, they're not interchangeable))
"That's up for debate."
"Aw come on, big guy; you sound pessimistic with that one."

"Eesh, is someone fighting, or just trying to make noise?"
"We best assume it's trouble."
"Sure thing, big guy."
They head towards the noise; without better leads, it might be worth investigating.

 

Unsure of anything better, and starting to lock up on a big decision, he follows them again.

 

Jolin extends his consciousness outwards looking for the conflict.

 

Malcolm fires another three rounds into the air.

 

He stares at it for a while, wondering if hurrying to the tip and trying to cut himself free would work. "Hmmmm... It is c-cold out."

 

You all come to a stop, as there's some sort of creature staring around the corner with its eyes at the end of a long tentacle...
It hasn't noticed you yet...

It's about 10' tall... Not ideal to fight.

You and Jolin are the only ones still in camp...

You spot Sklod, slumped against the wall applying a bandage to a shoulder wound in the gap of his armor...
"They went that way. Whatever it was, it had a crude but functional firearm."

You can sense the psycic scream of someone getting their mind probed, but the signature matches more of that belonging to the avali.

The thing continues to watch...

The creature growls, the harpoon back in its hand and pointed at you...

"Can you repair one? Perhaps synthesize the fuel?"

 

"Well I've got a better one..." He loads a slug and heads at a light run in that direction, doing his best to blend in as well as possible..

 

"Noted; I'll make sure to shoot first."

Sasha sigh. "He's going to get himself killed with that attitude." He turns back to Sklod. "Will you be needing assistance, or do you think you'll be able to handle yourself?"

 

Bryon's arm ices over more, a fair amount of icy armor, a spine on the end...he crouches low

 

Ron worms backwards with a frown, grunting angrily.

She takes a moment to think back on her old projects with Deno. "I... It depends on the vehicle and the fuel..." Her ears twitch and she glances up. "But I should be able to."

 

Pointing off towards the general direction that he hears the scream Jolin says to Hurcules, "Somthing is attacking our allies over that way."
He then relays the mental scream to Hurcules as he starts walking towards the commotion.

Hercules goes to check out the attack on his allies.

 

"How else would you know I was telling the truth?", Jolin inquiries, speaking directly into Hurcules mind.

 

"I could just trust you. Why would you want to trick me anyway?"
