Delving too deep.

    NPCs involved:
    Ichgo Miner (think dwarves!)
Acid Wyrm (large sandworm like monster that resides in the core of the planet, feeding off of the rich ores being compressed in the caves daily. Without the monster, the core would collapse on itself, as the wyrm is holding up the planet. You find it resting in it's nest of acid with it's Wyrm Eggs.

    Locations:
Cavern planet (A cavernous planet with rough stone deposits on the outside, with many rich ores on the inside, while as you go deeper, you eventually find large pools of acid and sulfur springs.) Over world is a rather industrial style city, perhaps with Avian, Human, And Glitch NPCs as well.

Upper caves: Contains several weak enemies, and very well lit, as miners can be seen in the background mining. Can find very small amounts or ore, as the majority of the ores has been mined out long ago.

Deeper caves: Has little to no light, with more ore, and has many monsters now. The background miners are gone, but replaced with small tunnels leading off in every direction. Halfway through the caves, you will always find a large stone barrier, where you start the quest.

Core: a large bath of oil on the surface, which underneath lies a large core of bubbling acid. Entering the oil without any form of protection will very quickly kill you, and the monsters here are quite strong.

    Story/ Quest
After exploring the caves a bit, you'll find an old miner NPC. He claims to be the chief miner of the planet, and mentions that there have been many earthquakes recently, which he has been tasked to deal with. The path forward is blocked with a forcefield, as it's most likely too dangerous for the old Ichgo to explore. He intends to go and eliminate the source of the earthquakes no matter the cost. So, you must offer to enter in his place, since he recognizes you as an adventurer . He'll begin deactivate the forcefield, but will give you an OilSuit. It will protect you in the acid and oil for 5 minutes at a time, but you must recharge it if you wish to keep going. After a bit more cave and monsters, you come across an oilhole. You must enter the Oil suit, and hop into the core. You begin exploring for a bit, until you find the nest. I looks a bit like this thing, but Light brown. Thinks tremors as well. The wyrm will speak to you with telepathy. It says It has had to branch out into farther parts of the planet for ore, as the deposits in the core of the planet are disappearing, and so it has had to go look in other places for food. However, its leaving, from water displacement, leaves a large open gap in the core, and is causing the planet to shake violently, as well as shrinking the planet's size. If it cannot find any ore to eat, not only will it die, but its eggs as well.

Here, you have a choice of 3 options.
    War option:
You begin to fight the Wyrm. He acts a bit like the wyvern from Terraria, but also has an attack that fires a condenced ball of Burning oil at the player, damaging and slowing the player. After the fight, the dead weight of the wyrm holds the planet steady, and keeps the plant safe. You get the first reward.

    Diplomat option:
You have to go back and bargain with the Ichgo miner, explaining the situation. The result depends on how many quests you've done in the game. If you haven't done many, the Ichgo will reluctantly agree to help the player since it's their planet at stake. IF you have completed several more quests, they'll realize you're famous, and immediately agree to help. Either response doesn't change the outcome, just the dialogue. Now, you will see Ichgo's with wheelbarrows sometimes going to the newly expanded mines to feed the now cooperative wyrm. You get reward 2.

    Nature option:
You tell the wyrm that in order to have his planet back, it has to cause tremors to certain parts of the planet. You must traverse back to the top, and find the coordinates on the planet where cities are located. You scurry back, and select where it should attack. The wyrm attacks the spot, and destroys the mines, the buildings on the surface, everything. You get reward 3 for that.

    Reward
On all 3 rewards you get to keep the Oilsuit.
1: You receive 2000 bits, and a member of the Ichgo board comes onto your ship. Also, you can return to the nest and mine the ore enriched dead wyrm eggs which contain bits of valuable ore.

2: You only get 500 bits, but you can now find more ore in the lower caverns, and explore the core more. Also, after awhile, the wyrms will hatch and the mother wyrm will give you one as a companion. They forage ores while underground automatically, and can fire oil in combat + while swimming. After the same amount of time, the Ichgo board member joins your ship as well.

3: You receive an Acid Hydra, like the companion wyrm, only they have 2 heads, are twice as fast, and can be mounted for cosmetic effect.

This sounds like a pretty awesome idea. The fight with the Wyrm seems like it'd be interesting, as I can assume it'd be in an area with little ground for you to work with. Personally, I'd go with reward number two, as it seems somewhat the easiest and highest paying. Perhaps a bit too high, but what do I know of this sort of thing?

    Firstly, AWESOME idea!

While ive been playing the major thing i found lacking was the range and depth of quests. Now i know that the game is still only in early access phase so this is just a observation thus far. I was thinking to myself that if there were more quests that had a bit of depth to them as well this game would be absolutely amazing.

Now this suggestion is right on the money of what i was thinking. Its has a different enough idea that it could be reproduced a few to with small variations to make it still seem unique everytime.
Also, it is simple yet still has enough depth to make it awesome!

This, and more like this please !:up::up:

I've updated the cost with closer to up to date information, seeing as this was posted largely when the game's content was speculation.
    Enjoy!
