Ever notice how delivery quests are assigned? Someone requests an item they normally despise- like when Alex asked me for a cola.
Believe it or not, you're not the first one to notice this. We have many, many buried threads here on the subject. Just my opinion, but I think CA deliberately kept the game subsystem so insensitive because the results are sometimes hilarious.
Oh you have no idea xD The things they ask for sometimes. And cola is actually a fairly common one, considering everybody but Sam hates the thing.
Oh geeze not another one !! Well it was bound to happen.. Ahem. True the delivery quests are very odd but I've been working on a theory. I would go grab a drink and maybe some snacks because this is going to be one of those hours long talks. First when I realized that yeah they order very odd stuff they don't like it got me thinking. Joja cola yeah its common but when I think about it maybe they're getting it for someone else or are using it for an experiment or an ingredient for a recipe.. *has never ever had to use a soda in a cooking recipe..A down right lie since I have had but no one will know.. * As for the sardine for a dessert. Sardines are used in a recipe I've seen for seanuts which is basically peanuts mixed with chopped sardines and some other goodies which from my buddy has said is really good over vanilla ice cream . Yeah as you can see I have way to much time on my hands lol but I do find some of the delivery quest funny including the ones from Haley Also I have another theory that secretly the towns folk love what they hate but don't want anyone else to know. Thus concludes today's lecture. I'd like a 500 page report on this due by Friday.
My favorite request was from Leah. She wanted a gold bar to put on a chain. I didn't know she took fashion advice from Mr. T.
They never fail to be a source of amusement. Like Clint wanting a copper bar for a project. Either the town blacksmith can't make a copper bar or he accidently sent me his last one in the mail and is trying to renege.
Elliot once asked for an octopus to put on a chain. Guess it was the new designer pet or something. lol (If you dig back far enough I made a post about it with a funny sketch I drew.)
Clint gave me a copper bar one time, then asked for a copper bar the following day. That Clint! Such a kidder.
