deleting a character

so i wanted to see each of the death scene for each race but i also accidentally redid some so my characters are in a over abundant amount and is there a way 2 delete them?


if not thats something chucklefish needs 2 add a way 2 delete character (and when you try 2 delete them they ask for confirmation then ask for a special pass so other peoples cant just wreck all their work least i don't have any 1 i don't trust in my hosue hold but some of you may not be so lucky


so first is there a way 2 delete? if yes how please tell

Currently no there isn't(other than I suppose finding the save files and deleting them) odds are it will be added. Add to that there is a wipe about to hit so it shouldn't matter terribly.

You should be able to delete individual character save files. But that requires digging around in your local content. They do need to add a way to delete characters from the character selection page, though.

 

Hope to God that they add a button to delete the character.

 

No one should have to dig through their files to delete a character they want removed. There had better be a delete option in-game at some point.

 

go to starbound folder and delete the "player" and "universe" folders.

 

Yes i know it's a workaround. I'm just giving beta feedback that it had better be there.

 

yeah i knew bout the folder delete i would have done it but they were deleting our character at the second update so didn't worry and yes they should add a delete function i can not see that not happening
