In your base you should have something like a cloning/scanning machine, that when you die will, basicaly, revive you, but it will do that based on your last scan, meaning that anything you learned, and skills you got betwen your last scan and your death should dissapear, however, everithing you did shouldn't dissapear, for example, if you were working on some sort of a mineshaft, that mineshaft should still be there after you are revived, or if you solved a quest, it'll stay solved, maybe you'll even be able to find your old body !

But dont know what to do with equippement, maybe it should stay where you died? But it definitely shouldn't just dissapear, unless, the circunstances would expain it. Maybe it should be scatered around the planet?, but only after along time?

    Please, share you opinions.

I dont think construction projects should be wiped if you didn't scan before you died, but I DO think that you should be able to build a device that retrieves whatever items you had on you when you died, I don't want my 50 diamonds and my custom annihilator gun to disappear when I accidentally step in lava. Otherwise, you have a good idea going there!

Ouch!, that's what I get for not looking beyond the 2 page! And for some reason, I didn't notice that in the sugestion compilation.
