Yep, because GW2 TOTALLY invented plant people.

 

In Guild Wars 2 the Sylvari look and sound like males or females but cannot reproduce, so maybe there's something similar going on in here.
Either that or they all look like females!
Some sort of monarchy with a plant king.

Now that's interesting!
Reminds me of Guild Wars 2's character creation a little bit.
The personality bit at least.

Now I'm even more curious!
Maybe they are out to destroy all humans and animals?

Funnily enough I find that one tiny image and bits of info more interesting than all we've heard about the Avians and the Apex, and I liked those too.

For the Topic: I have an idea! The Plant People are gonna be something other than what would be expected of them... the logical thing to expect of them is a Naturalist People... so I propose that the Plant People will be ludicrously industrial & mechanically inclined!!! (& since there's such a thing as Plants that EAT Co2, I bet the Plants can do a LOT of Industrial Stuff on their Planet without getting their Planet Greenhoused to death! )

 

Even more so, since plants are the reason why we have so much oxygen in the first place. In Evolution Theory, they were the ones that made the water habitable for the fishes and then the atmosphere. People and plants get along so wella ctually when not trying to kill one another simply because one breathes what the other exhales. I wouldnt be suprised at all if they were industrialists, its supplant the need for humans -w-

 

You know, looking at the larger head- Is it possible that it's a classic green alien with a helmet that is folded back?

I saw the twitter post as soon as it was published, I wanted to make a thread on it but I could already imagine the board being flooded with the same threads.

The plants look awesome IMO, reminds me of the Sylvari from GW2.
I'm hoping they'll have insane customization too, I mean come on, they're plants! They can have red skin, purple skin, blue skin, white skin.

 

Oh wait does this mean that everyone has a beard or can ??? including girls ?
