Deadly Campers

    FloranHolly Yeah, You!

I travelled to a new planet and right beside the spawn point are some heavily armoured and armed campers. I tried to just walk past but one of them killed me with one swing of their mighty axe. I respawned and they instantly came for me again. I respawned again. This time, one is standing directly next to the spawn point and kills me AS I am teleporting down from my ship, giving me no chance to fight back or escape. What can I do? Can I ever explore this planet?

That really sucks. :( Maybe you'll have to record the coordinates to this planet and come back when you have better armor and weapons?

I have a diamond drill and violium armour. I think armour is the only thing that might help because I don't have a chance to fight back.

Hey the same exact same thing happened to me on the first planet that I beamed down to on the first time I played this game! Took me about 30 minutes to clear out the beam down site since I didn't even know how to play yet. I think you're just going to need to note the coordinates and find another planet for the moment.

You can try going to a different planet, the spawning thing is still being worked out, sometimes you can spawn in lava/acid, on your first world!

Those are called bandits, just saying. If you have that great gear, I think you should be able to find other planet.

It's a good thing the screen doesn't linger for long after your death because those campers would probably end up tea-bagging or humping your corpse. That's what campers do. The jerks.

In game necrophilia? Was this included in the last patch?

It wasn't included in any game (that I know of!). But it apparently was borne out of the feature that was included in a lot of games...

    There is 5 million planets.
I am sure missing 1 isn't going to make much of a difference.

K, so, there is a lot. a lot-lot. And, these numbers are big. And, no single player is ever going to visit them all. Ever. Like, never-ever. And that's just the numbers that are thrown out by these 2 stand-up guys. While they are just letting anyone not-quite-in-the-know on the truly huge quantity that this game is boasting in it's universe, I'll quote the wiki just to lay it on a little thicker.

There are 12.667 quadrillion planets able to be generated within the game currently, with 422.22 quadrillion planned.

So take your time. There is no need to be upset.... about one planet.
