Day-One Patch changelog?

hey, just downloading the 550mb patch... can anyone tell me what has been added/removed/fixed?

What I can tell is that my framerate problems are no more. That was fast!

 

Do you really want one of our devs taking the time to type up a massive changelog? or do you want them to keep fixing bugs and adding content?

 

literally just came here to find out too, anyone know ? or any Dev going to tell us, Change Log maybe ?

 

Actually I do want to know what's going on, it's not like someone's arm will fall just to type a couple of lines saying what is coming on every patch...I mean, it's a standard procedure for any game.

 

Hopefully framerate problems gone for me too, can't tell yet cause I get disk read error after updating when i try to play now. Currently verifying game files to see if that fixes it.

 

yes. that's their job. and that's assuming it's even "massive"

I too would love a changelog, the main reason being, that I now have to go check if my bugs are still there rather than just giving a little "yippee" and carrying on with the game

 

Oooh, downloading right now, Hopefully FPS is improved or even fixed! and a few nasty crash bugs I already had. Hopefully changelog or update notes come out soon

 

I know that they can't possibly put a changelog for every new patch, but man, 550mb is pretty big. Waiting to finish the download.

 

A changelog literally takes mere minutes to write up, and changelogs are important for testers as it allows us to see if there were any tweaks made so we can check them out in-game and make sure: A) The tweaks actually worked, and If any new problems came up due to the changes at all.

On-topic though, I'm sure they'll mention what they patched at some point.

 

Usually, the vetting process/scm/scv/Revision control ssytem would include a change log process.

 

Confirmed that they fixed the bow crashing bug on OS X.

 

They didn't fix the freeze bug as it's still happening. Changelog would be nice so i don't have to get my hopes up each patch.

 

I very much agree, the "Xp crash bug" needs a fix fast.

 

Just open your task manager and kill starbound.exe. It does not close on it's own on my computer too.

 

Hmm, there's no 550MB patch so far ... at least not on steam, I literally downloaded the game 10 minutes ago, and no patch notification and such. Anyhow, there's no direction yet in this game, no quests, etc. Which is why this is beta. Hopefully there's a story put into the game before it gets marked as Final.

Being that the game download was literally 50MB, A patch the size mentioned above is a bit ... unbelievable.
