What is? Darkstar Co. is a very well known group in the galactic politic,however because of the over-secrecy,its the target of many conspiracy theories. Owning many orbital stations and settlements for scientific purposes,Darkstar itself has a very well oiled industrial machine,mantaining a small but state-of-art fleet of ships to survey and protect Darkstar systems. ------------------------------ How it was born? A little before the fall of earth,a small group called "Cybertech INDUSTRIES" was studying planets for colonization. While governments were rushing to do the impossible,Cybertech was trying to mantain earth stable creating "Green" technologies. When the alarm sounded of a incoming monster to earth,the panic began to rise. Governments losing control of the situation,with the social order breaking bad. The Cybertech council realized that although the galaxy was abundant with knowledge and wealth, it was also a dangerous place, and a dark time was coming for humanity. It was humanity's duty to meet this challenge, and then resolved to do everything in his power to better humanity and ensure their place among the stars. It is not fully known how the corporation achieved such a state of unique technological superiority, though it is often linked to their access to and study of allegedly alien technology, and their monopoly on different materials, which provided them with vast amounts of wealth, both financially and scientifically. The Corporation has constructed, owned, and operated many state-of-the-art research institutes, and hired out research teams in a galatic scale. Oftentimes, these institutes and related facilities were kept highly secret, and hidden from academia and especially from the galatic bio-ethics committee. ------------------------------- Military The Corporation military is centered around the concepts of stealth and speed, preferring outmaneuvering their enemies, hit-and-run attacks, guerrilla tactics and subterfuge. The armoury o consists primarily of lightly armoured, fast vehicles with average firepower, which can outmaneuver and flank the opponent. Long-range weaponry is also prevalent, including the surface-to-surface missile launchers or large caliber artillery designed to deliver immense amounts of punishment to the opponent without exposing themselves. While not having a powerful and big army,the Darkstar Co. is centered around Special Operatives to do the job. Operatives trained from the childhood to accomplish crippling attacks against enemies and engage in assasination,torture,information gathering,sabotage and capture missions better than any other soldier. Another edge is the stealth system [Using special gravity and magnetic vibrators,one can bend the dark matter around himself creating a almost-perfect stealth system. Mostly used in ships,on food they use a special "blender" suit to mirror the light around].
