PORTRAITS REVAMPED by darkrown ✮ hello, boys and girls! welcome to my portrait shop of wonders. I've been lurking around the modding forums for a while now and I've been itching to put out some work of my own. I wanted to start with the portraits because it's a fairly straight forward job so it shouldn't be too complicated for a beginner like me. I plan on replacing all the portraits in the game, starting with the bachelors& bachelorettes. these portraits differ quite a bit from the original ones so I understand that they may not fit everyone's tastes. however, I am definitely open to suggestions/ critique to improve them over the future. here goes~ Latest Release: SAM DOWNLOAD SPRITESHEETS click the thumbnails to open~ Installation instructions: Download the files from the link provided above Extract the archive Navigate to Stardew Valley/Content/Portraits Make a backup of the contents of the folder Copy the provided files and overwrite the ones in the Portraits folder okay, that's it for now. make sure to vote on the poll so I can start working on the npcs you guys want. thanks for browsing and I hope you'll enjoy using my work! cheers~ ✮
it looks awesome! However, with only one revamped portrait Abigail would stood out like a sore thumb. I'm refraining myself until all of them (or at least the bachelor/ettes) are complete. Great job though.

Loved that picture of Shane you did, and I love this too! Everyone seems to be redoing the girls for now, it would be nice to see the boys get some new portraits. Sebastian and Harvey need one the most, I think.

On the one hand, Harvey's expressive moustache and Mike Dawson charm grew on me over time. On the other hand, I love this style, and look forward to when you'll get to everyone eventually. I saw your Shane photo but didn't know what to say because it just made me glum that we can't form a 'life is awful' pity club with Shane, Pam, and Clint. Depending on how busy you are and your inclination, I might trouble you to re-do or do a portrait option in your style for my NPC's. I'd hate to use these and then have my horrible n' hacky work stick out like a sore thumb!.. But that'll come later, and again, depending on your inclination. For now, fantastic work. Wow these images are gorgeous! Atm. I'm unsure if I should use them since I'm afraid the three girls would stand out too much from the rest of the townsfolk (and I'd have to rethink marrying elliot because he's not the most handsome anymore ^^) but I'm rrrealllly hoping you get to do all (no pressure here^^) so everyone could look awesome. Point is that on this game the only point slightly annoying me (or where I thought the harvest moon games are better) were the character portraits - but with these images of yours you're even taking my last piece of critic on this game . So in short - thank you for your awesome work and I love this new style of the characters!
