Darkbound: Legacy of the Lucent Update Part 2!

damned headaches. im trying to enjoy my ni-HOLY SHIT ITS CHRISTMAS. but, still, headaches. they haunt me.

 

I don't think this should be part of the on release game but more as a free downloadable expansion pack because it is so HUGE it could break weak computers which will ruin a few people's experiences. Also if it was a download and run to install it would offer a nice option.

Very good so that way so in the worst case senario: all planets infected by darkbound *static* no end in sight *static* all planets danger level 100 *static* type in a nonvisited coordenate and hope .....*end audio log*; yes i made that seem like a journal but yea its a great idea having it as a difficulty rather then something implimented at first so rather then preping for going mining (if it was implanted in the game) you would go to first make a determent for darkbound then go mining.

Breaking Galactic News:​

Our sources indicate that a full-scale incursion into our sector has occurred, executed by an extremely organized but as of yet unidentified faction.​

They appear to harvest the planets themselves and break them apart once they suck the life out of them. They then detonate them to spread out to other planets.​

They are extremely dangerous, and although their main forces are unable to operate in direct sunlight they have numerous other creatures at their disposal as well.​

There are unconfirmed reports that the SPC Leviathan, the capital ship of the Space Police, has broken off communications after encountering a swarm of the alien creatures.​

So far the quarantine zone includes sectors X-7 through Z-38 and is spreading more every day. Flying through quarantined sectors is illegal, and ships will be shot on sight.​

If you encounter any of the creatures or get any of their signals on long-range scanners, report these occurances to the Space Police immediately.​

At that point,I'd build an Arc to escape in another universe.

 

& what if your Ark takes ya to one of the Universes the Darkbound have already taken down...?

OMG! That's really great. A Race that has some agenda and is more than just running around. I like the infection stuff and the Background.
And just give me the Void Armor. It looks fantastic and reminds me of Metroid...i just want it very badly

Also they gave me a slight feeling of having a similar feel to them like the Silence from Dr. Who

 

Okay so they can take down a capital ship,am I supposed to be impressed?

 

Space ships don't phase trough dimensions,i guess they'd send scouts trough the portal.

 

Sending scouts will just strengthen the Darkbound army if you are unlucky enough to travel to a Darkbound controlled area

 

This reminds me of Metroid Prime 2. That is a good thing.
