Darkbound: Legacy of the Lucent Update Part 2!

I would like to lend my aid to your attempts to bring light to the darkness, for I think my flames could assist in the endeavor.

Puny Oni? All hail black holes? How ironic you would say that to an oni who is capable of controlling density, therefore capable of creating black holes without much effort [though sake is required, but that has never been a problem]

May I remind you that the darkbound queen and the oni god of mischief are, say... good friends. Tampering with such relationships? Go ahead and anger the queen.

 

What's an oni?

Do they set things on fire?

 

An oni is a type of japanese demon. Suika happens to be an oni that can go to Godzilla sizes and has more capacity for drink than Yamato-No-Orochi in a binge contest.

I would not suggest angering her, and yes if you wish, they can set you on fire.

I can too if youd like. I can use fire that wont give off light -w- Ever been burned by fire so black it looks inverted? Like that Found the type of flame in Bel-Shamroths temple. I wonder if something like the queen would enjoy a display of such light, seeing as it is not light but merely a opposite reflection of it.

 

You're thinking of exactly the wrong person to set on fire. Why not set the Darkbound on fire instead?

 

Because the more i hear about them the more I like them. Im friends with demons, ether wraiths, spirits and dragons, do you really think my heart goes out specifically to humans and their animal infection plights?

My diabolic plan to (somewhat) thwart the Darkbound!
May vary immensely if plan fails. Chances of this occuring are very, very high.
STEP 0. Build a nether portal and aquire all the alcohol from said place.
STEP 1. Locate an Oni (Preferably drunk).
STEP 1.5. Respawn after being stepped on. (Nyeh, nyeh!)
STEP 2. Because APPARENTLY Onis can control "fate" equip all party memebers with +1/+1 and shroud. Just to be sure.
STEP 3. Have soybeans hidden somwhere, just in case.
STEP 4. Aproach the Oni with a bottle of the finest booze from hell.
STEP 5. Bring a blood donation machine.
STEP 6. Give the Oni the booze as a gift.
STEP 7. Show a picture of the CUTEST, SADDEST animal/person you can find online.
STEP 8. Tell a sob story about how this animal/person will DIE without a blood transfusion. (Hire a good actor for this, I have no Idea how gulible onis are. Even drunk ones.)
STEP 9. Tell the oni that they are the ONLY one with a blood type that matches the animal/person.
STEP 10. OFFER, I repeat, OFFER the Oni the option to donate just a TINY bit of blood in return for an entire cargo-ship full of whatever alcoholic drink they desire. (Within reason, of course.)
STEP 11. If they refuse, give them another bottle and return to step 1.
STEP 12. If they refuse, and attack you, Deploy the soybeans and run like hell.
STEP 13. If they accept, take the blood back to the headquarters and GIVE THEM THEIR DRINKS, FOR GOD'S SAKE.
STEP 14. Research the DNA in the blood, and see how they are immune to the Darkbound.
STEP 15. Clone the blood.
STEP 16. Make a shot that makes people, animals, plants, machines immune to the Darkbound.
STEP 17. OR if a shot dosn't work, use genetic engineering to make everyone .0001% Oni, thus making them immune to the Darkbound.
STEP 18. Reserved in case everything fails even more horribly.

 

I love this, I really wanna see it in game.

 

STEP 1: Locate Oni. (drunken oni preferred for you because you are silly)
STEP 2: Insult Oni with booze because he hasnt been to hell and therefore has no idea what Thunder Brew and Burn The House Down Is, or Atom Splitter.
STEP 3: Bring out main course holding animal picture. (you)
STEP 4: Die. Eat soybeans as side, maybe add duck sauce.
STEP 5: Eat blood donation machine. Tastes like baloney.

 

This isn't just a human problem though! They corrupt everything and steal their individuality and free will. This is bad for all parties involved.

 

Ah ha. Ha ha... NO. This plan is perfect. It cannot possibly fail.

Edit: Oh, Im so sorry for getting off track! That said, tis more helpful to communicate witht he corruption than to destroy it. You may even achieve your own goals while your at it. I am personally wondering if the Darkbound would enjoy a bit of black fire. Im not talking about black colored fire, and not demon-fire, but a sort of fire that burns in a strange reality, giving everything but itself a pallid shadow. Argh, Im having issues describing it. Imagine white fire on a black background, only the fires not lighting anything.... argh, if you want references I suggest looking at Bel-Shamroths temple or maybe that castle in Super Paper Mario at Count Blecks Castle. That fire.

My plan to defeat the Darkbound

1. Send in the player character.
2. That's about it.

 

And it was. At least, on this side of the interdimensional Void.

Anyway, I've added a few minor adjustments to the plan. If i can get past the random ticked off weirdos that appear from NOWHERE and have no revelance to anything, then It should be JUST fine.

 

Well I'm thinking of doing something more "community oriented" we all know that Starbound has its monthly wallpapers but what about the Darkbound? I'm in need of a larger picture for a video to post something for you all that MAY or MAY NOT be music related, and seeing how I lack the talent to make worthy art I thought I would ask the community itself.

So here is the idea. We need a Darkbound Desktop, it can be entirely pixel artwork or drawn out. If at all possible various sizes would be best, we could follow Fetal's examples of 1920×1200 | 1680×1050 | 1440×900 1280×800 | 1920×1080 | 1600×900 1366×768 | 1600×1200 | 1024×768. As for a the contents, anything Darkbound related. You can make a picture of a Darkbound on another world, a picture of the Darkbound world itself, a group of monsters, it's up to you. All of them will go onto the front post as well as a link to your art topic and DA account if you have one, and they will go into youtube videos to act as the background for the various Darkbound music tracks.​

This seems to be a really good idea! Also, considering the pixel weekly (Or whatever it was called.) seems to be no longer in use, someone should try and make a new news thread for the forums!

Also, I shall be making a wallpaper involving a massive Darkbound vs Other Suggestions (Gillians, Glunaughts, Liberi, Dragoknights, Cerpine, Lycanthropes, Etc.) battle.
Whheeen I have the time.

Sorry for all the fuss with the plan thing, I didn't expect it to go out of control like that!

 

I might give it a shot when I'm done with what I'm working on.
