spacechase0 submitted a new mod: Customize Exterior - This mod lets you customize the exterior of your buildings individually. Read more about this mod...
Thank you. I'll try and test the upper limits of how many different types of exterior mods can be placed into the mod folder, and let you know if there are any errors.
Well, I didn't add scrolling support, so at some point you won't be able to see any more. More than 9 will overflow from the background box.
Considering alternate textures within the same mod topic (ali's rustic, rustic dark roof, white, and the primary pink one are 4 on their own), as well as seasonal houses for those of us that don't use seasonal immersion, there are well over nine just in house recolors. If you feel up to it, a scrolling option for the texture hoarders would be a useful update, but what you've done so far in letting us change our house visuals in-game is amazing as it is! More than I could do, definitely. Thank you.
Seasonal buildings work without Seasonal Immersion. I just meant that a content pack structured for Seasonal Immersion will work with this mod. I should make that more clear. I've never even downloaded Seasonal Immersion.
Yoooo, so random question, what version of SMAPI did you make this for? I've tried this mod with both SMAPI 1.8 and 1.9 hoping to resolve an issue I'm having. When I go to double right click a building, SMAPI barfs a bunch of red code at me.
I see the problem. Seasonal texture sets still go in their folder. Right now you have a 'spring', 'summer', 'fall', 'winter' folder in Buildings, each with entries from 2 different texture sets in them. They need to be in their own folder like they were originally. So TextureA would have 'spring', 'summer', 'fall', 'winter' subdirectories, and so would TextureB, but TextureA and TextureB would be their own subdirectories under Buildings. There's an example file structure at the bottom of the mod page. While the example only has one texture set with seasonal variations, not two, it hsould hopefully make things a bit clearer.
VictSeasonal appears to have both an xnb and a png? Huh. I didn't expect that. I'll get a fix up soon.
spacechase0 updated Customize Exterior with a new update entry: Probably fixed crash from having both an XNB and PNG of the same building in a texture set. Read the rest of this update entry...
