Perhaps obsolete, but crossbows are just too cool not to use.

 

Crossbows/bows are quite popular this past few years... Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Tomb Raider, Crysis... Why not railgun srsly?

 

Good to know there'll be a projectile weapon that doesn't fire bullets, lasers, or explosives.

 

I thought the Upvote/Like cannon would be your favorite.

 

Dishonored, too. But where was there a crossbow in Far Cry? The Recurve Bow is just a normal bow.

It was still a bow. You had gagdet like smartphone etc. recent weapons like flamethrower, ak, pump & grenad launcher, and still you could fight with a bow. I didn't say it was a bad thing, it's just strange to see that kind of obsession for such an rudimentary weapon.

 

It's not a Crossbow, but I see where you're going with the primitive weapons and such. Especially because the bow is one of the best weapons in Far Cry 3.

Bows are just badass, I guess.

My brother actually just bought a crossbow earlier today. It's awesome!

The thing about Bows is that they require skill. The whole basis that the Crossbow was invented on is that it takes no training. While a Bow is deadlier, it is also far harder to use. Therefore, Bows are far more badass.
