Bug/Issue Crew members

    I'm having an issue since uninstalling some mods to fix another problem I had since the update.
    Whenever I try to hire a crew member, the green 'beam down' laser shows as if they are going to appear on my ship, but they don't appear (but sometimes leave a few pixels or seeds behind) and then the game tries to beam them down again, over and over.
    I've tried deleting my whole crew and hiring new members but I have the same issue, I can't seem to get anyone else on my ship...

    Your starbound fails when setting the uniform. I assume you removed a crew altering mod that changed the uniform behaviour (added head slot). I know that "earth's finest" add this slot to the crew. Maybe that's the cause why it is failing.

    Thank you! Yes, I did remove that mod. Is there anything I can do to fix the problem?

    The slot info is stored "in" the actual crew members. Either dismiss them and get a new crew or use a mod that add back the slot. Afaik it can't be edited out from the current crew members.

    Yeah, I have tried to dismiss them and hire new crew members though, it happens with them as well unfortunately

    Strange...Do you have a tailor? If yes try assigning a new crew uniform. Maybe this will fix it.

    I had a tailor but I had to dismiss them because they were nothing but green beams of light on my ship lol

    Hm then you will have to install the mod again...Maybe it's already updated.

    I looked on the workshop page for that mod and apparently other people are having the same problem (with disappearing crew), but having the mod installed causes an issue where picking up an item not yet in collections causes the game to crash, making it unplayable. I guess I'll have to wait/hope for the creator to release an update, otherwise I'll just play with no crew for now.
