Creepers in Starbound

I'm surprised you haven't heard of them.

 

Oh, I expected the first comment to be a hate-comment. I know what creepers are, just felt like conducting a miniature social-experiment.

 

My design plan for my Starbound base must now include a lava moat of some sort, or maybe a giant wall of cacti.

 

That is 99.9% EXACTLY what I imagined a starbound creeper to look like!

 

I think everyone just needs to calm down and get themselves a kitten launcher (Demanrisu's idea). Creepers wouldn't stand a chance.

He did say cameo, not a full roll, so they might just be in an opening scene or something. Since its a cameo I wouldn't expect them to be a in the game in full so no need to worry about all your blocks getting blown away quite yet.

 

I just know some misguided fan will say "Oh they totally stole that from Mincraft" even though tiy got permission

 

Maybe! You have to look through a window in a castle, and you see a creeper. And if you shoot him, you get a bunch of pixels! TWO REFERENCES IN ONE!

the creepers are what really destroyed the player's home planet at the start of the game..
the player lived on planet craft mine, and all the creepers blew themselves up, thus rupturing the planet's core and causing it to explode: and so begins the player's journey ..

This is terrifying. I've rage quit many a times in Minecraft from those... demons...

I will never go on a planet populated by even one creeper, and if I accidentally do, we'll have some Deathstar action coming on.

Interesting... Creepers in Starbound sound fun. I'd prefer them as an extremely rare mob that drops a Creeper mask.

 

So, creepers eh? These guys never really bothered me in Minecraft, so I doubt they will in a 2D perspective game, if they are indeed enemies that is. Wanna know what I wanna know? Why no one mentioned the other cameo Tiy asked for? Diggles FTW, man. Diggles FTW.

 

I'd like a Cave Story cameo.
