Was following this conversation on Twitter, must admit I did get a bit over excited when Notch said yes...
Had to go straight to Youtube and put on the Back to the Future theme.... no link, its just an epic tune for epic things.

 

Oh lawd, I don't know whether to laugh or cry about this development. Cameos are always awesome, but the idea of having my nice things blown to smithereens is less than desirable.

What would they look like? From a side perspective, they would just look like a cactus xD

 

All this means, is that i'm going to be digging a BIG trench around my base, or the construction of many traps. Tis the one thing that could sabotage my universal conquests.

 

With any luck they won't have developed space travel.

 

It's possible that it could be just an item, since all he said was "cameo". Would be pretty cool if it was a mob though.

I'm not surprised about Notch saying "Sure!" but I'm surprised about Tiy wanting to include them.
Either way it sounds pretty cool!
