Creepers, and Jeepers

two species highly invasive, both parasitic in nature both considered late game and very dangerous

There will only be one creeper, you'll never know where it is or in what species it is. it spreads by attacking and then passing on infection players, npcs, other species, everything can be infected. infected creatures keep external appearance till they are killed, then they burst turn into something horrible that attacks everything passing on infection till they themselves are killed. Fire based weapons will cause extra damage.

Creeper I guess would be something like reach certain lvl, or beat certain boss, server randomly assigns a something with the #creeper tag. when ever something with the #creeper tag attacks something it gives something else the #creeper tag. on death the server checks to see if something has the #creeper tag and spawns a CREEPER in it's place which has a #borncreeper tag that infects things with the #creeper tag on attack.
A simple test can be made that checks for the #creeper tag. if devs are nice maybe make a very expensive, rare material thingy you can make that makes one vial of vaccination which is good for one dose. Also maybe a special suit that prevents the #creeper tag from being attached to whomever wears it.

Potentially a player could be infected with creeper and never know it. until when ever he kill something it changes into a creeper, it could be him, or the planet has been infected, who knows. Basically think of the movie "The Thing" clive barker, dude from escape from newyork.

Jeepers are cute looking things that latch onto other creatures, plant eggs that grow until they kill the host, and produce Jeebees. Jeebees are quick agile they hit for a ton and spray acid when hit, they spawn jeebers. Fire again does extra damage, and also prevents the acid damage on hit.

Jeepers are cute and somewhat easy to kill, the only have one attack that is to attach to something and plant a #jeeper tag on something. (Jeepers can not infect other jeepers) #jeeper tag has a X time counter, once it runs out it kills what is infected and spawns a Jeebee. Jeebee spawn jeepers @ X interval.

To me it sounds like the creeper is a meaningless addition, the fact that all you have mentioned for it is that it gives a tag to what it attacks and when something with said tag dies it spawns a creeper (Which we do not know the appearance of) who's main feature is to infect with the creeper tag on attack (Which is the same as everything else with the tag, so why not just have nothing spawn after it).

The Jeeper is also pretty pointless in my opinion, you haven't given anyone a way to prevent the Jeeper attack (only saying that it kills the host after X time) and the jeebees really are not needed either - why not just have the jeepers spawn more jeepers and save the addition of that mob?

haters will hate, this is a game mechanic for late game stuff. jeeper just needs to be killed before it attaches by knocking it back. also read the creeper logic better. when something spawns a CREEPER I would assume it would hit a ton, be hard to kill, and generally be a really big pain in the ass. When you understand what is being written come on back and try again.

Yes you would assume it hits a ton because all anyone can do is assume that, you did not state anywhere in your original suggestion that it would hit a ton and be hard to kill.

Also saying "haters will hate" because someone criticises your suggestion is just childish, it was constructive criticism too picking on points that I believe you could have improved upon.

To me it sounds like you need to learn some manners, in no way was what I wrote spiteful or mean and yet you respond with an acid tongue.

This is just an outlined idea for others to flesh out, go back under your bridge troll =)

Being a late game critter points to a few assumptions

Why so rude? I picked out some flaws in your suggestion that you could have easily just improved upon and moved on from, yet you insist I am some kind of troll?
Not all negative comments are trolls, mine never are.

I have a modified idea to yours. How about a parasitic, genetic upgrader creature? It's a little bit like a zerg, but simpler. The game will have a supercool random monster generator. I don't know if the randomness of the generator is only optical, or if various body parts have different stats. If they have stats too, how about implementing a creature, that absorbs the bodyparts of creatures it kills, and grows the strongest and best variants of each part on himself. It would become stronger the longer it lives, and the player should probably kill or tame it before it becomes too strong. Eventually it would have to be some kind of cybernetic creature if there are robotic monsters and biological ones :p
