not sure if this has been suggested or already going to be in it but one thing i would like to see is creatures and npcs haveing randomly generated behaviors and not just randomly generated body
so some will have a pack mentality, following an alpha/leaders, possibly getting scared and more like likely to flee if the leader is killed(similar to grunts from halo), or some might go berserk and be more aggressive(like halos brutes)
maybe some creatures packs will fight eachother
some creatures would have various ways of being aggressive
some would never/hardly ever attack you, only fleeing and maybe attacking if cornered
some would only attack if attacked themselves, not caring if you slaughter other members
some would be protective of members of there pack/species and fight if any member is harmed nearby
some may be territorial only attacking if you get to close to there den/home or to close to them, possibly giving hints like growling when your to close to give you a warning
and of course some would just murder you on sight
and not only to the player
    aswell as other things
like some small creatures may find the player fascinating and follow the player around
some may run from bigger creatures or if you have a gun pointed at them
so species A might attack creature B on sight while they may ignore the player or creature C as long as they dont get to close
as haveing one for every species would be impossible , so maybe have them triggered by characteristics, like they may attack smaller non hostile creatures while running from giant murder hobos
npcs would act in a similar way, possibly having formations, so say i encounter a bunch of avian zealots, the zealots would attempt to protect a priest going as far as jumping in front of slow moving projectiles heading for them
or some military might have a sniper who stays back and gets as high as they can to fire at you from far off, while mid-range ranged units will attempt to keep melee units between them and the player

Definitely something that could be cool but it's also rather advanced, or at least to me, and I feel that it would take time to implement into the game. I have mixed emotions towards this idea since I would like the game to be finished, or in beta state ASAP.

ya i sayed it a bit stupid, thats the problem with makeing at post 5 minutes before passing out, alot of the things i mentioned are stupid, but a more basic form of what i said might be doable

It's not really stupid, I like the idea but I don't know how well it would work or how long it could take to implement. It also doesn't seem like the kind of thing they would add post-release given that would change a large part of the game.

    So in short:

Creatures with randomly generated behaviours based on characteristics. (Height, affinity, food type etc.)

    It may show itself in:
    - Friendly, neutral or aggressive behaviour
    - Follow, ignore or attack on sight.

    - Either group, pack or solo behaviour
    - Packs will follow an Alpha, and try to protect it.
    - Group members and packs will come to each others aides when attacked.
    - Groups will try to protect their special units. Might be a long range unit or a commander.
    - Packs or groups may have a central 'base' (Hive, military installation etc.) which they will protect and not stray too far from.
    - Solo creatures do not care about other's being killed.

    - Preference to creatures
    - Creatures can attack or ignore certain species.

    - Animals may try to attack smaller creatures, and will avoid bigger ones.
