Anyways, what do you mean by "it didn't work"? Does it not show up as a loaded asset on the main menu, does the game not launch, do you crash at a certain point, are features missing?

Yes, it is indeed updated to Spirited Giraffe.

 

I've edited out the [Upbeat Giraffe] part of the name as some people seemed confused by that.

I tried and no it is not

 

The mod is great and all, but I've scrolling through the crafting menu, the ultimate box item doesn't appear to be there. I know I've installed the mod correctly and I've read that a few others have had this same problem as well, so my question is, could we get a fix for this?

 

Have you completely removed the mod folder before updating, did you re-download the latest version (currently 1.4.4), do you have any other mods installed and have you tried it on another character?

nevermind, all i had to do was find the spirited giraffe version which was not on the mods page.

Hiya! I am a modder, and I was wondering how I might go about making my mod compatible with this one. I would like to make it so my items appear in the Spawning Box, but I am not sure how. I think it would pretty much just be creating a new recipe named (itemname)cm.recipe and then using "spawningbox" in the tag section, right? Just not sure, and I don't really want to accidentally blow stuff up.

My mod would still function without it as a dependency, they just wouldn't be able to use the Spawning Box to spawn the items, right?

 

I'm quite sure recipe filters can be missing from crafting station (configs), as long as the recipe itself works. This shouldn't be that difficult to test though, just copy a recipe file, change the filename and set a filter to something random. If the game loads fine, there's no need to worry about any issues here.

Keep in mind that if you set the recipe filters so that it only shows up in the Spawning Box, it won't be accessible anywhere without CM.

 

Alright, thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to accidentally make it a prerequisite by adding the tag. I've modded Minecraft before, and if you tried to do something like that in MC, the game would promptly crash with the only error log being "TROLOLOLOL." I swear that game just crashes for the lols. Thanks for the help!
