well can anyone help me with my problem? starbound perfectly starts up since i deleted alienstripedblock,and before this happened i took the invincible armor and OP sword,and now that i deleted the mod,which also made it work(start up) my human is "in his underwear" and the sword is a perfect generic item,and now my screen is just black(not my HUD tho) and it just crashes without an error page

 

Hey mate, I pointed this in another post but it went under the load of the other ones.

The chest piece for the Rainbow wood armor is mising, not sure if it's intended or not, but I spawned it with the admin mode. Just pointing it out so that when you launch the next version you add it too.

 

Ok good news it WORKS for me again! Yay!!!

 

I just got the new update and it still doesn't work for some reason.

Still "no alienstripedblockcm" even though the recipe should be gone.

 

Delete the previous installment first before updating, always.

I'm 99% sure it isn't missing. You sure you searched for the right thing or that there's no other mods conflicting or something?

Did you used creative flight tech on you character, do you have mods, have you checked your starbound.log ?

 

yeah i had the flying tech,no other mods and no i have not checked[DOUBLEPOST=1424297870][/DOUBLEPOST]ok i have checked,one thing says "[16:532.180] Warn: Could not load tech module '' reason: (TechDatabaseException) No such tech" i assume thats one problem,there could be more that cause it to just crash

 

Or you just install the update and just play the game with it installed. You don't have to use it even if you have it installed anyway.

 

I suddenly got a feeling and went to check it, you have the armor piece in the mod indeed! It's on the furniture box though. Btw, there are two rainbow capes too, is that intended? There doesn't seem to be any difference between the two. Cheers!

EDIT: it might be also because the item supposedly is called "rainbow wood chest" and in the furniture box it's under the name "rainbow wood shirt". Just throwing it out here, maybe it's relevant...

 

There is rainbow and nature cape, however, nature cape is called rainbow cape on recipes but provide a different effect, tthe growflower one.

 

i CANT play on my character(human) thats the problem,besides,i still have some cheated items,so if i install it now,it'll be WORSE.either way i still cant play it....

 

Umm... No. If you put this new update of this mod after completely deleting the old Creative Mode folder, and then start the game and your character up it will load fine..

 

sooo,the items will be back? or i'll have to do it again,it does not matter but im wondering,so i just download the link(in the top right) and BAM everything is back

 

I made an extension for this :l it allows to to get the liquid guns again :l im just afraid that you wouldnt have liked that
