I'm currently mining for Core Fragments, but every time i get fairly deep underground, i crash. I have Never had this crash happen above ground, and it happens without fail every single time i go deep underground. Can anyone help?

  4. Well, my suggestion would be to wipe your "player" and "universe" folders completely as well as any mods you might have. You're getting an error on start-up stating there are 6+ corrupt character files on there. Additionally there is a access violation that happens, the cause is still unknown. After clearing everything see if you experience the same issue and let us know either way how it turns out xD.

I actually tried starting a new character after i posted the issue, and i got the same crash. I also tried deleting the universe file and it still happened, so since then i've gone back to the non-nightly version and haven't had any issues since. thanks for the reply anyway. :)
Edit: by the way, you said there were 6 corrupted character files?!? I only ever created 2 characters in the nightly builds. I do have around 6 in the non-nightly version, so are corrupted player files in the non nightly version affecting new characters i create in the nightly? weird.

  6. It was giving the "magic bits" error for 6 characters. I interpreted that as corruption, it was probably just your stable characters xD.

  7. The Stack trace mentions dequeuing Status Effects from a list. My guess would this is related to the scripted status effect that they are working on right now.

Status effect seems to be coming from a liquid as well?

Sadly, I do not think this is something any one of us can fix. May just have to wait a bit for them to resolve the issue.
