Closed crash on osx after a minute or less of play

A new stable update, yay! *downloads* oh.

So a friend setup a server and I joined, but it seems the game crashes after sometimes a few minutes of play for me.

I can't find any repeatable cause.

I verified game content. I then heard there was a patch release, so tried the issue again today.

Same problem, verified content, deleted and re-downloaded the game. Still no joy.

No error message shown and can't find anything in standard OSX logs.

Are there any additional logs that could be useful here or any suggestions?
