Crash, Can't even startup the game (Mac user)

    Crash when I click play on steam, Can't even startup the game (Mac user), please solve this problem ASAP.

    Mac Book Pro

    Mac OSX Lion 10.7.5
    Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
    CPU 2 GHz Intel Core i7
    4 GB Ram

    Problems too : The game launches, displays the fish logo, then show a sky with blinking stars and random planets.
    No menu or anything else ...

    Config :
    MacOSX 10.8.5
    Core2 Duo 2,8ghz
    4 Go
    Geforce 9600M GT 512Mo

    I am having the same issue as Voren, no menu showing at all

    System Specs:

    MacBook Pro, early 2011
    Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
    Graphics Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
    Software OS X 10.9

    Same here. I have 10.7.5

    Click play and it just says Starbound quit unexpectedly.

    Please fix. I really wanna play. :'(

    They (devs) said at stream 10.7 (and maybe lower) do not work at the moment. If I heard correctly.

    I'm able to start the game on OS X 10.9 might be a problem on older version of OS X. Will check with imac running OS X 10.7 when I get home.

    Some users have problems on OsX > 10.7 ...
    On 10.8.5 the game launches...great ! :eek:

    In the live stream they said that the game currently is only compatible with 64bit OSX 10.8 and above. This is due to the compiler they have access to and the fact that cross-compiling for previous versions of OSX is not a perfect solution.
