Crap OP... Literally

I was going into a sewer on a gamma world, and I went down, I dropped onto the mini turd and it 1-hit me... What? I'm wearing river armour and that shouldn't have 1 hit me...

 

One doesn't simply underestimate the power of poop.

 

Actually this raises a good point that less often encountered mob types such as this should be looked at just in case.

The sewers are on high Tiered planets. It's been stated before that Tiers above 4 are grossly unbalanced still. Plus there's nothing good in the sewers other than jacking the outhouse for village decor.

I can confirm on Alpha Sector they hit hard but fine. I've found two sewers.

 

Was wearing full Makeshift armor made from Matter Blocks in an alpha zone, the cute little shits one hit for 100 every time. I can also confirm this.

 

I was wearing river armour (Tier 3 Racial Armour) which increases my health to 170, I was a bit low, but I feel onto a poop and took 137 damage... Bit absurd, especially since it was only a gamma world...

 

incorrect. we found a sewer on a tier II desert world. The monsters in there, poop especially, were insanely unbalanced compared to the area they were in. The poop needs nerfed!

for that matter, what the heck is a sewer doing on a desert world. Whose sanitation needs is it supposed to be serving ? o.o

 

Nanako, I've found like 5, maybe 6 sewers on moon planets, I think thats the top of insanity.

 

i was killed by the poop in impervium armor from half health (250hp)

river set is like tier 4 or something?

I got one-shot by some type of mini-boss in beta sector, while wearing full Scout armor (the best I can craft currently). It was surprising, since the rest of the combat has been very easy so far.

 

Beware The Great and Mighty Poo!

 

I've noticed that almost all minibosses seem to one-shot you, while other enemies go down like a sack of bricks and hit about as hard as a feather. Even the bosses don't do that much damage and usually take about as long to kill. Seems a bit off to me... xD

 

While I encountered these sewer mobs in alpha sector and the little ones did kill in 1 shot, I also killed them in 1 shot. So their mechanic simply became "don't let them hit you before you hit them". If the 1 shot still goes both ways in higher tiers, i am ok with that. Brings a bit more variety and danger into things.

 

I somewhat enjoy them hitting hard, lol.

 

Why shouldn't the poo one shot you?

Whats the point of a platform game if there isn't at least some pass or fail involved?

 

It's not about pass or fail. We're just curious if those monsters should be doing such high damage. I love platforming games, play and conquer every single one I find with extreme prejudice behind my thumbs. This isn't about that though. The monster in question is the size of a baby, it looks like a baby, moves like one, and hits like a truck. Don't make sense to a lot of us is all.
