Crafting iron armor bugged as floran?

I tried to craft a floran Sprout's Circlet and it cost me pixels, but did not yield an item. It did not consume the copper helmet and iron bars that the recipe requires, just the pixels.

Will test again once I have enough pixels to do that.

 

Same thing happened to me with the Sprout's Circlet. It ate the pixels, made the crafting sound, but didn't give me the item or consume any of the other materials, just like with you.

After searching my inventory for it for a few minutes, I tried crafting it again since I had the pixels, and it worked the second time.

When I first tried to craft it, I think I moved the moment after I hit the craft button. I'm wondering if that could possibly have done it? Or maybe that item just always bugs out the first time you try to craft it, but going a second time immediately after works for whatever wacky programming reason.

 

it worked the second time I tried it. The only thing I did differently is put the Glitch Crown that I "found" in a chest.

 

Potentially stupid question, but was it auto-equipped?
