Crafted Back Item?

I've gone through every recipe I have on the metalwork station, robotic crafting table, the loom, and the monster lab... Where is this back item to craft? I've run a forum search and the only times I've seen anyone say anything about this were little single posts that never got answers, so I'm making a post specifically for it.
Edit: just in case, I'm up to violium.

 

Hmmm, maybe you have to find the blueprint somewhere.

I'm rather curious as well. It could be that the recipe was not added to current characters but that would be silly. I may look on reddit to see if anyone knows for sure. Or even check the IRC for ideas on that. I'm interested to know as well.

 

If you are on an old char you need to remake starmap MK2 and use it then it will be in robotics table.

 

Well it was quite the quest going back to alpha for iron and steel, but definitely worth. This item.. so cool

 

It is? Maybe if I was still using my floran. But on my new glitch it doesn't look so good. And it's weaker than a torch.
