I'd love to have one of those platforms that move on wires, like the ones in super mario series! so, why not craft 'em? like this: you craft 2 engines, a platform, and some pieces of wire, place the engines, connect the wires, add the platform and voilá I know, you could ve just made ladders, stairs, bridges, etc... but moving platforms are so much fun! plus, the platforms can be faster than mario ones, and can be activated only when you step on then. This way, it could be a decent transport system! PS 1: dunno if this was already sugested, but i searched for it and found nothing... PS 2: i know it involves the game mechanics, and also involves crafting, but the platform itself is a vehicle, so i though it'd fit this section better PS 3: My english sucks, sorry... PS 4: PS stands for "Post Script" and not "PlayStation" (lol)
I think it would be nice. It would keep you from having to keep placing dirt to make bridges or stairs constantly.

Great for making mob-proof entrances, as well as you should be able to flip a switch and have the platform go to one side or another without you having to ride it.
could you put a bomb on the platform and set it off then turn on the platform and watch the platform whiz off into the sunset with sparks flying from the bomb AND then of course blow up your enemies base
