Cotton wool? Cotton wool? It is clearly not from a sheep. After all, it's produced from cotton fibre. It is not cotton linters (the thing they call cotton wool in the United Kingdom), either. It has needles for sewing stuck through it. It is used for making clothing. It is not cotton linters. What is it? It's a ball of yarn. It's cotton yarn. It would be nice if the name to reflected this. Cotton wool is just... such a terrible name. It's confusing and inaccurate. I have a headache now.
