Closed Corrupt Character

I am getting this odd error, not sure what to do.

Here's what happened..
Firstly, I DID remove my mods.
Second I played a bit on lava planets.
I went back to my ship and my chest will my pet army was missing (RIP Awesomesuars)
My game crashed
Tried to log back on
this.

Well looks like I gotta reroll. But uh... yeah, this could be an issue.

 

Character is still broken. Also bumping this thread because I don't want this to die yet.

 

I'm getting the same problem. Went to go launch my character and the game crashes

 

chests are un openable... game quits when I try to open chests (on my ship).... my ship's storage is GONE!!!!!! and I think I am missing few of my chests.....

 

I'm getting a similar issue with both of my characters. I was actually able to play one of them for a short period of time but then the game crashed. I haven't been able to load either since.

Just tried creating a new character to see if i could avoid this issue and got a slightly different error screen.

 

I'm having the same problem. It launches and I can play as other characters but if I try to use my main character it immediately crashes.

 

I can log into my character but my onboard stash is gone and so is the unique that I just won from the boss battle that I fought.
when this happened I lost my HUD and could not exit the game normally ( via ESC ). I feel another character wipe coming...

 

I'm getting the same types of error. The difference being, however, when I try to make a new character instead, I end up crashing anyway.

Hope this is fixed soon, I really like this game and I'd hate for it to just stop working for me all of the sudden.

 

I had a similar crash after the update as well. Deleting the starbound files, uninstalling the game and then reinstalling the game fixed the problem though. You could probably back up your saves.
