a conveyor belt would help send items from anywhere, into a chest, if an item is on the conveyor belt while touching a chest, it will be put into the chest, this would make it easier for bases to share resources for building without having to carry the resources! but you can also be on it, if you walk the direction it goes, it makes you faster, the opposite, will make you slower.
Also, pipes and pneumatic tubes. I think this has been suggested before but it should be in the game for those that like to industrialize.
