Controller Support?

Been contemplating on purchasing this game, but I wanna know... Does it support Xbox controllers yet? Been seeing mixed messages everywhere, and I was hoping to get an official answer....

 

Nope, there's still no gamepad support in any way.

The only workaround I can think would be use applications like AntiMicro to bind keyboard inputs into the gamepad buttons.

It may look hard to play at the beginning, but since we have faaar more configuration options that we would have in any "official gamepad support", you can end getting a better experience.

I'm saying this cuz I use AntiMicro since games like Terraria didn't have gamepad support, and it still does look superior due the customization options.
