BACKSTORY: The Cyberus are a race of "Super-soldiers" created by human scientists during a great war that plagued their civilization for years. In 2100 a group of aliens descended from humans, called the Draxiian, were involved in a full scale Galactic war against neighbouring planets. The enemy were far better trained in combat and had greater numbers, So the Draxiian scientists started research into military bioengineering to try and change the tide of the war. After 5 years of research the scientists succeeded in splicing genes from a native animal to release certain hormones, creating the first super-soldiers. They were flawed though; the hormones that were being produced to increase their strength were not being utilized. After another month of tests they realized what the issue was: the hormones were being greatly diluted in their bloodstream before they could reach the muscles. So the scientists started to develop a method to distribute the hormones directly to the muscles, and after 3 months they were successful; the Cyberus had been created. These super-soldiers turned the tide of the war and the Draxiian people were once again safe from the threat of attack, or so they thought. Some of the soldiers began to complain of excruciating bouts of hunger and regular headaches. All of the super-soldiers were admitted to the hospital and testing began to see what was wrong with them. All super-soldiers soon began to complain of similar ailments, and those that first showed the effects began to change... They gained heightened senses and were even stronger and smarter than before, but they were also losing their humanity. They became covered in fur and were prone to fits of immense rage, often killing those that were treating their "Illness". After a month they barely resembled their old selves, looking more like wolves than humans. They could still speak the Draxiian language, but possessed none of their old characteristics; they had transformed into the Cyberus. Barely 2 months after winning the war, the Draxiian people were under attack again, this time from an unbeatable foe, and they were wiped out within 2 weeks. The Cyberus then went on to form their own civilization. Using their immense intellect to overcome all kind of issues. They solved their inability to reproduce by clothing themselves. They also further improved the hormone production, making them stronger, and also giving them the ability to self heal (to a certain extent). Slowly they began to form a full infrastructure, and have now become a thriving civilization. STATISTICS: There are 4 types of Cyberus: -Albino: Smarter and more agile, often they are scientists. White fur, red eyes and blue tubing. -Black: Strongest of the 4 types, but they are not as smart as the others. Black fur, blue eyes and red tubing. -Cave Dweller: Often found in rocky areas, they are outcasts of the Cyberus. Brown fur, green eyes and tubing. -Elders: Secluded, often found in Snowy areas, they are smartest but least agile: Grey fur, Black eyes and no tubing The Cyberus are very agile and strong creatures, they use well thought out tactics to overcome their foe with the least casualties to their own kind. They have 4 main attack methods, these are: -Biting the enemy to cause severe bleeding, but this requires them to get close. -Attacking with their claws. Does not do great deals of damage, but it is a very quick attack. -Kicking the enemy. If their opponents get too close, they will use their immense muscle power to send the opponent flying. -Using the energy blades to attack. This is their most common form of attack, along with biting. They will either quickly slice with the blades, or jump and unleash a devastating aerial attack. The Cyberus also have a very high amount of health, often being able to take on an entire squad of opponents before falling. Attacking one by your self is ill-advised They are 8 foot tall on average, but can vary between 7 and 9 foot. Nice! interesting take on werewolves, I enjoy the sci-fi twist. Good backstory, also I like how you detailed several types. well thought out.
